🎲GAME/BLOG INTRODUCTION
Welcome back, fearless survivors, to Tracks of Terror: The Last Train to Save Your Butt—although calling it the “last” train might be a stretch now. Here’s the twist: after Day 6’s madness in the Frozen Freight Car, I stumbled into a tangle of derailed train cars and chaos… only to spot another locomotive rumbling out of the wreckage. Real train, real survivors—plus a few not-so-survivor types. With no time to lose, I leapt onto its final car, hoping to find an easier path to safety.
🎁 HOW IT WORKS
Yes, we still face the same five survival actions—Fight ⚔️, Sneak 👣, Improvise 🛠️, Persuade 🗣️, or Loot 🔍—but the game has changed. Now, multiple survivors are aboard, each making their own guesses on how to handle daily threats. We won’t always clear a full car in one go, either; we’ll typically get through about 50% of its horrors before regrouping for the next day.
Keep tracking your correct predictions for a crack at the mystery prize, and remember, every guess automatically enters you into any loot box drawings we discover—no purchase necessary, just your grit and good instincts.
🦠 BACKSTORY REMINDER
I fled a zombie-ravaged city on a runaway train, hacked and sneaked my way through haunted compartments, and nearly froze to death in a freight car. Then came the pileup—smoldering wreckage everywhere, zombies clawing at twisted metal. That’s when I saw a second locomotive rolling out—alive with survivors and a few undead stowaways. With a desperate leap, I boarded the last car of this new train… and that’s where our story continues.
Day 7: “The Autorack Ambush (Part 1)”
Day 6’s Winning Move (Recap)
Before I get into the new chaos, here’s the brief reveal of how I escaped the Frozen Freight Car:
- I rummaged in frosty crates (Loot 🔍).
- Found traction cleats and a ragged coat.
- Carefully skirted that massive hole in the side.
- Survived, albeit with numb fingers and chattering teeth.
And hey, major props to Penny, who correctly guessed I’d search for gear to keep me grounded on that icy floor. When the second train appeared, Penny and I both made a mad dash to board, leaving the remains of that frosty deathtrap behind.
THE SCENE: THE AUTORACK CAR
We land in an autorack at the very end of this new train—a multi-level carrier for passengers’ vehicles. Rows of sedans, SUVs, and even a half-crushed sports car line the metal ramps. Some folks are rummaging through the vehicles, scrounging for food, water, or anything worth trading. Others stand guard, warily watching for lurking zombies that might have slipped on with the crowd.
A half-dozen zombies shuffle aimlessly at the far end of the autorack—maybe they followed the smell of living flesh. The space is wide and open, but it’s dim, lit only by overhead lamps struggling to stay powered. The train rumbles steadily beneath our feet.
“We’ve gotta clear this car,” Penny whispers, eyes scanning the shadows. “Or at least half of it, right? There’s no telling how many zombies are hiding in these parked vehicles.”
She’s right. We decide to handle the immediate threat now—only about 50% of the autorack—then regroup and figure out the rest tomorrow. We can’t risk total chaos if we wake up surrounded by the undead. A few more new survivors join us, each with their own guess about the best course of action.
Subtle Clue: One SUV door is left wide open, the interior lights flickering. A faint trail of fresh blood leads right to it, then vanishes… almost like something was dragged inside. Could that be a sign of more undead waiting, or something else entirely?
MEETING THE PLAYERS
Penny: She’s resourceful, quick with a guess, and not afraid to speak up. She’s also been on a lucky streak predicting our survival moves—so folks are listening when she talks.
Abe: An older man, quietly firm. He’s missing the tip of his right ear (battle scar?), but he’s armed with a battered shotgun.
Lilac: A nervous woman with a crowbar who’s constantly checking the corners. She guessed “Fight” in the last scenario and ended up nearly pinned under a crate. She’s determined not to guess wrong this time.
We form a loose plan to tackle these immediate zombies at the far end, but the question is: how?

Our new train, new friends, same classic problem: we gotta make a move. How do we clear or control the first half of this autorack—without losing half our crew?
- Fight ⚔️ – Form a small strike team to take out the undead head-on before they can ambush us.
- Sneak 👣 – Quietly move between vehicles, picking off or avoiding zombies one by one.
- Improvise 🛠️ – Use parked cars, ramps, or leftover gear to set up traps or block the zombies’ path.
- Persuade 🗣️ – Try to rally survivors into helping, or at least scattering the zombies. Maybe a loud diversion?
- Loot 🔍 – Scour the nearest vehicles for tools or weapons that can give us the upper hand (like a car alarm).
🔥 CLIFFHANGER: HALF CLEARED… OR HALF EATEN?
We’ll attempt to secure 50% of this autorack tonight—then regroup. Tomorrow, I’ll reveal which choice saved our skins (and how Penny, Abe, Lilac, and I make out), plus the horrifying ways the other four would’ve gone sideways.
If you’re reading this, survivors, get those guesses in. The train ain’t slowing down, and neither are the zombies lurking in these cars. But watch the hints: small details might guide you to the winning choice… or lead you astray. Good luck!
