Known for her fiery temper and relentless ambition, Ann had her sights set on eliminating Santa and securing her own path to freedom. But Santa, with his twinkling eyes and centuries of wisdom, had other plans.
As the ring froze in a moment of tension, Santa turned his attention to the fourth riddle:
“I loop, I stretch, I bend, I fold— I’m neither young, nor am I old. Through me, the past and future meet; Find my path, and time will repeat.”
The crowd hushed as Santa’s cheeks glowed with inspiration. “A paperclip!” he bellowed, his voice cutting through the chaos. The Timekeeper’s glowing runes dimmed momentarily, signaling that the answer was correct. Ann, in her shock, hesitated for just a moment—one fatal moment.
