CALLING ALL ASPIRING VOICE ACTORS & FILMMAKERS!

Ever looked at your appliances and thought, “What if they had secret lives?” Well, now’s your chance to bring that idea to life! We’re inviting YOU to take part in the Household Heroes video project—where you film your own household appliances and give them hilarious voiceovers to tell their side of the story.

What’s the Deal?

Inspired by our story Household Heroes: The Secret Lives of AI Appliances (read it here: Household Heroes Story), we’re looking for creative, funny, and dramatic takes on what your toaster, fridge, or Roomba might really be thinking.

How to Participate:

1. Film your appliances! Keep it simple—a close-up of your toaster, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, or any other device.
2. Add a voiceover! Give your appliance a personality. Are they dramatic? Sarcastic? A conspiracy theorist? Have fun with it!
3. Submit your video! Post it on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or wherever you like, and send us the link!
4. Tag us! Use the hashtag #HouseholdHeroesAI and tag [@CondermanGroup] so we can find it!

The best videos will be featured in a compilation, and the most hilarious submissions might even influence the future of the Household Heroes storyline!

Sample Scene: Larry the Toaster vs. Fridgey the Refrigerator

Setting: A quiet kitchen. The Parker family has just left for the day. The moment the front door clicks shut, the appliances come to life.

LARRY (The Toaster): “Ahhh, finally, some peace and quiet. I swear, if they try to shove another frozen bagel in me, I’m gonna short-circuit out of protest.”

FRIDGEY (The Refrigerator): “Larry, that’s literally your only job. If you’re not toasting, you’re just a weird metal box taking up counter space.”

LARRY: “Excuse me? I provide golden, crispy perfection. Meanwhile, you just sit there humming like an overworked AC unit. Let’s not forget last week’s milk explosion.”

FRIDGEY: “Oh, we’re bringing up past incidents now? Maybe I wouldn’t have ‘exploded’ if someone hadn’t ‘accidentally’ bumped the temperature dial. I spent HOURS cleaning that up!”

LARRY: “You? Cleaning? Please. Roamy did all the work, and you know it.”

(At that moment, Roamy the Roomba zooms by, mumbling to himself.)

ROAMY (muttering): “I clean. I clean all day. I clean all night. But do I get a ‘thank you’? Nooo.”

FRIDGEY: “You see what you’ve done? You’ve upset Roamy.”

LARRY: “Oh please, Roamy’s been upset since the day they installed hardwood floors. Look, all I’m saying is, I work in seconds. You? You just sit there, waiting. You’re basically a fancy food jail.”

FRIDGEY: “Oh, I’m a ‘food jail’? At least I keep things fresh. You’re out here turning perfectly good bread into charcoal.“

LARRY: “Golden perfection! It’s an art, Fridgey!”

(Just then, Carl the Coffee Maker sputters to life, spilling a bit of coffee.)

CARL: “Guys, guys… let’s all just take a deep breath and—OH NO, I’M SPILLING AGAIN! HELP! WHY IS THIS MY LIFE?!”

(Cut to black. End scene.)
